The DALLMER Sole Plate with recess compensates the results of wall decay or chronic laminitis. Wall decay can cause the bearing edge to break away, laminitis can lead to a loss of parts of the bearing edge.
The side of the plastic plate facing the hoof is equiped with a synclinal recess. However, the ground surface is even. The recess in the sole plate protects the body of the sole from pressure. The DALLMER Sole Plate acts as an extension for the insubstantial bearing edge of the toe restoring those sections of the hoof wall to normal lenghts.
