The Olympic and World Champion Hartwig Steenken placed great confidence in DALLMER Hoofshoes. For his jumpers „Gladstone“, „Simona“ and „Goya“ he used preferably DALLMER Hoofshoes because the horses’ performance benefited ideally from the nailless, gentle hoof protection.
Together with Professor Karl-Heinz Werner, Helmuth Dallmer developed a hoofshoe for the diagnosis of lameness. Ever since, a precise measuring tool exists that can easily be transported. Hitherto, lameness could only either be perceived visually or by display in one of three diagnostic clinics worldwide.
The Prof.-Adalbert-Seifriz-Prize is a nationwide Technology-Transfer-Prize that gets annually awarded for the cooperation between craftsmanship and science.
